Installation prerequisites
- You should have to have a Joomla website (Version 1.5.0 or above)
- Download joomla1.5_com_simply_forms-1.0.zip (Click here)
- Download joomla1.5_mod_simply_forms-1.0.zip (Click here)
- Login as Joomla Administrator
Installing Joomla Component
Follow few simple steps to install Joomla Component
- Login as Joomla Administrator
- In the Administration panel, click Extensions > Extension Manager
- In the Package File field, click Choose File and import component package file(joomla1.5_com_simply_forms-1.0.zip)
- Click Upload and Install
After installation, a success message is displayed. You can also find Simply forms under Components tab
Installing Joomla Module
Follow few simple steps to install Joomla Module
- Login as Joomla Administrator
- In the Administration panel, click Extensions > Extension Manager
- In the Package File field, click Choose File and import Module package file(joomla1.5_mod_simply_forms-1.0.zip)
- Click Upload and Install. You can also find Simply forms under Extensions > Module Manager
After installation, a success message is displayed.
Configuring Module
Follow few simple steps to configure module
- Login as Joomla Administrator
- In the Administration panel, click Extensions > Extension Manager
- Click simplyforms module
- You’ll be navigated to the edit view of simply form. You’ll need to configure the Module
Title | To provide a label to your simplyform |
Show Title | To display or hide the label of title |
Enabled | To activate or deactivate the simplyform |
Position | To set up your simplyform in desired location |
Order | To configure order of appearance |
Menu | To include simplyform on selected menu lists |
Module Parameters | Provide your unique Simply CRM URL under Module Parameters — this will establish a connection between simplyforms in your website and Simply CRM account |
Note!
When you create a Simply CRM account, an unique URL will be provided to you. Basically, URL will be generated as
https://yourcompanyname.od1.simplyhq.com
But, we’ll strongly recommend you to log into your Simply CRM account, and copy your URL from address bar ― not all, but up to od1.simplyhq.com
- 5. After the configuration, click Save
Installing Webforms Configuration Editor
We’ve successfully configured settings in Joomla. A few changes should be done in Simply CRM, too. You’ll need to install Webforms Configuration editor and provide basic information in it. Please ignore the installation steps if you have Webforms Configuration Editor installed already.
Follow few simple steps to install Webforms Configuration Editor
- Log into Simply CRM
- Click on
gear icon in the top right corner
- Click Module Manager
- Click Custom Modules
- Click Import or Upgrade button
- Locate WebformsConfigEditor and click Install button next to it
- After successfully installing Webforms Configuration Editor, you can locate the feature under CRM Settings
Setting up Webforms Configuration Editor
After installing Webforms Configuration Editor, you’ll need to configure it. The table below gives detailed information of fields in Webforms Configuration Editor.
Default Username | Select your User Name |
Default User Accesskey | Provide your unique Access Key. You can find Access Key in My Preferences page. |
Default Owner | Select an user to whom the Lead records should be assigned |
Success URL | Provide an URL to which your users should be navigated after successfully submitting the details |
Failure URL | Provide an URL to which your users should be navigated in case of submission failures |
